In a series of activities and events in response to World Intellectual Property Day April 26, 2021, Copyright Office, Intellectual Property Association of Ho Chi Minh City (IPA) and Ho Chi Minh City National University Minh co-organized the Walk Program to celebrate World Intellectual Property Day on Sunday morning, April 25, 2021.

Walk on a march to celebrate World Intellectual Property Day April 26 With the message of World Intellectual Property Day 2021: "Intellectual Property & Small and Medium Enterprises: Bring your ideas to market" transmitted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) , to promote, honor and encourage creative labor of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that transform ideas into intellectual properties, market intellectual property, generate profits, and social and economic value. According to statistics from the World Intellectual Property Organization shows that about 90% of global economic growth is caused by small and medium enterprises. In Vietnam, SMEs account for 97% of total enterprises, contribute 45% of GDP, 31% of total state budget revenue and create more than 5 million jobs, becoming the core force supporting the economy. stand firm and have a growth step in the context of the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, this year's message is particularly meaningful in the context of the Covid 19 pandemic and most of the world's economies are heavily affected. by this pandemic.

The program was walking march with over 300 people, including 50 members of the Intellectual Property Association of Ho Chi Minh City and 300 students in the Urban National University of Ho Chi Minh City.

Beside the walking activity, the activities of displaying intellectual property tapes, books, and publications; display books and materials propagating copyright and related rights of the Copyright Office; display cinematographic works of members of the American Film Association; inventions in the areas of waste treatment, wind power, vacuum cleaners, flood-proofing and unique city products also take place in the Program.

The goal of the program is aimed at the student force, helping them to be aware of the role of intellectual property law in protecting creative achievements, thereby improving knowledge of intellectual property and improving their understanding of intellectual property. Because, the creative force of Vietnam is the youth force and students are one of the driving forces of young people in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
